Wintra (“we”, “us”) is a personal chromatic zone and style guidance app for iPhone. We designed Wintra to keep your experience private by default: analysis is performed to serve you, not to build advertising profiles. This policy explains what we process, why, and the choices you have. It applies to the Wintra app and any related websites that link to this policy.
The developer of Wintra is responsible for the personal data processing described in this policy. For privacy questions, consent withdrawal, or data requests, contact cordiahcor529@outlook.com.
Wintra may request the following system permissions. You can deny a permission and still use features that do not require it. You can change permissions later in iOS Settings.
System permission prompts are separate from any in-app consent to share selected content with OpenRouter and the selected model endpoint.
When you run a zone analysis or garment scan, the photos you select are sent over an encrypted connection through OpenRouter, Inc. to a selected GPT model endpoint to produce the colour and styling guidance you request. Wintra requests Zero Data Retention routing for this processing and does not enable optional prompt logging or use of inputs and outputs for model training. The app asks for your permission before the first transfer. System permission to access the camera or photo library is separate from your consent to share selected content with OpenRouter and the selected model endpoint. Legal basis (where applicable): your consent and performance of the service you request.
Face / appearance data. Portrait photos may include your face. Our analysis may read visual characteristics such as skin, hair and eye colouring, undertone, and general feature harmony solely to generate the personal colour and style guidance you requested.
When you use voice input for AI Stylist questions, Wintra accesses the Microphone and Apple Speech Recognition solely to convert your spoken question into text for that feature. Speech recognition is performed using Apple’s platform services. The resulting text is then handled as an AI stylist message (see below). We do not sell audio recordings or use them for advertising profiles. Legal basis (where applicable): your consent and performance of the service you request.
When you use AI Stylist Chat, the message you submit (including text produced from voice input) and limited saved-zone context are sent through OpenRouter, Inc. to a selected GPT model endpoint to generate a response. Do not include sensitive personal information. Messages are displayed during the current app session and are not intentionally stored as a long-term chat history by Wintra. Wintra requests Zero Data Retention routing and does not enable optional prompt logging or use of inputs and outputs for model training.
Wintra applies input and output safety controls intended to restrict sexually explicit, exploitative, hateful, violent, self-harm, and other unsafe or out-of-scope content. These controls may block a request or response, but no automated system is perfect. You may report an inappropriate AI response using the report control shown with that response. Reported content and related request information may be retained as necessary to investigate abuse, improve safety controls, and respond to the report.
Questionnaire answers (for example sun reaction, metal preference, style lean) refine your result and are stored locally on your device. Legal basis: performance of the service.
If you buy Wintra Credits, the purchase is handled by Apple through In-App Purchase. Credits are consumable virtual items used inside the app for optional features (for example stylist chat, garment scan, or expanded dossier details). We do not receive your full payment card number. Apple may provide us with purchase receipts or transaction identifiers needed to deliver credits. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
We may process limited, non-identifying technical information (such as crash or performance data provided by Apple platforms) to keep the app working. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-app tracking SDKs for marketing.
We share data only with service providers acting on our instructions:
Some providers may process data outside your country. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal information.
Depending on where you live (for example the EEA/UK under GDPR, or California under the CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data, and to object to certain processing. Because most of your Wintra data lives on your device, deleting in-app data or uninstalling the app removes it locally. For questions about provider-held records, withdraw consent for future AI processing, or ask about provider-held data, email cordiahcor529@outlook.com. Withdrawing consent prevents future cloud AI processing but does not affect processing already completed before withdrawal. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
Wintra is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their data.
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes may also be surfaced in the app.
